I wanted to SPEAK with ANYONE on board the Disney Magic that was from the entertainment department. My son is a dancer on the Disney Magic and I am flying from Australia to surprise him and I'm doing the 4 night Halloween cruise from the 16th to 20th September 2024.
The customer service person that I called wouldn't put me through to anyone on board the Disney Magic.
This is the 3rd time I have tried to get through. What if it was an EMERGENCY and it was imperative that a crew member be contacted.
I don't even want to go on he cruise now as I am disgusted in the treatment of the Disney Magic to it's paying passengers. I will be putting in a formal complaint.
Preferred solution: To speak to someone on the Disney Magic before September 16th 2024.

Verified Buyer |Fraud alert
Disney double build my bank account leaving me with no money. When I brought this to their attention on the second day of the cruise, they said the money would be back in my account within 48 hours.
Were 72 hours into it and the money is still not in my account and they want me and my family to leave the ship. They said itll be another 4 to 5 days till the money is back in my account and theres nothing theyre willing to do for us. I cannot afford a hotel for my family anymore and our flight is in two days. I have a family member who lives 30 minutes away who is willing to let us stay with them , but they will not provide a taxi for us to get there.
Customer Service just have a family member pay for it. And now theyre telling me that I need to get my family off the ships so they can load up more people.
Theyre kicking my family to the curb with no place to go or stay and no money. Go Disney were they steal from you and tell you to kick rocks.

The purpose of this email is to hopefully force Disney Cruise Lines to change the way it handles providing wrong information, to guests, when booking Cruise Plans. It is very clear to see that our two reservations were for our FAMILY.
One person (myself) paid for all parties, reservations were linked, we were celebrating both a birthday and halloween. Our FAMILY celebration was to continue to Fort Wilderness the day after we returned (with no Protection Insurance - we made the trip and enjoyed the fort and its activities). It was explained to me, that we needed to have two reservations to accommodate our FAMILY as the rooms only allowed for 4/5 per room. It was explained to me, via your reservation line, that the reservations were linked, we were having dinner together, and all current charges and future charges were paid my a single person.
We had a FAMILY Vacation Planned.
Unfortunately, I (the person who made the reservations, who was mislead, and paid for both reservations) lost my job (my claim under 1 of the reservations was approved by the Insurance Company). Simply because we had two reservations (with Travel Insurance) we were not a FAMILY traveling together in the eyes of the Insurance Protection we purchased. The policy states that you or your Traveling Companion involuntary Employment Termination of Layoff is considered a Covered Event
When booking the reservation, the Disney agent never made the distinction between a FAMILY MEMBER or a TRAVELING COMPANION when discussing the insurance. We can prove this as we are going to ask for a recording of our telephone conversation with both DISNEY and AON Insurance.
Yes, shame on me for not reading the entire Insurance Policy (you learn from your mistakes) however any party traveling with more then 4 sometimes 5 family members, 1) need two or more reservations (DISNEY rule) and 2) who purchase the Insurance would never be fully covered in the event under OTHER COVERED EVENTS.
This information should be shared while making reservations and offering/selling Protection Insurance.
We are going to file a complaint with the State of Florida Secretary of Insurance as the sales process is very misleading. Yes, we were offered the 75% minimum credits for another cruise, for those FAMILY Members on the 2nd Reservation, but honestly when the supporting FAMILY Member loses his job, it is just TERRIBLE that the FAMILY Members on the 2nd Reservation are being forced to travel as DISNEY does not allow for FAMILY Members to all share one reservation number and be equally protected.

Hello.. Let me introduce myself, Feby, the wife of the Disney Wonder crew.
Here I want to report that my husband, Mohamad Sapeih ID 123**** dining room service, has been having an extramarital affair since 2022, where I saw photos of my husband and his mistress, but I only found out about it in May 2023... my husband even committed domestic violence and my husband so he is often temperamental towards his wife. There have been various ways to separate them but it turns out they are still in the same boat, even in the same team. I ask Disney to impose sanctions on my husband to be dismissed from Disney.
We already have 2 small children aged 7 years and 5 years. I ask for help and policy so that my husband is dismissed from Disney Thank you for your attention.
I hope Disney will immediately follow up on my husband's affair case. even my husband threatened me

I need to add my card onto the account, and I can't find the god-damn link on the site for adding my card. Put it in the ACCOUNT link, where it belongs. And your website kept crashing.
Preferred solution: Fix the website and make it easier for people to add their payment cards for shopping on the cruise.

I experienced very little wait time for someone to answer my call. That hasnt always been the case.
I hope future phone calls will be the same. Disney Cruises are my familys favorite vacation. I highly recommend Disney Cruises to friends.
It is the very best vacation. My family feel it is the best vacation they have ever taken.

As platinum members we did not receive the platinum welcome back cooler.
Each level gets a welcome back gift. We did not get one.
Also, they used to leave a gift in your bed on the New Years cruise( this cruise Costs double) as the other cruises through out the year. No New Years hats as In past.
Our New Years cups were stolen on deck, we asked for replacement and they said they had none.
Disney cruise has cut so many of the things that made us want to come back.
The most disturbing thing what we pay for this special time of the year, cruise.
Very disappointed. I tried to reach out on January 7th to Disney cruise with no response.
As a repeat 25 year returning customer of Disney, Disney cruise, aulani Im disheartened to have to write this.

has anyone noticed how Disney has more than doubled their cost for cruises.
When asked to explain the big difference you really get no answer.
It has more than doubled, which this company is suppose to be for familes, but with their cost increases, not only is the cruise but the theme park as well is getting out of hand. Most familes can not afford these new prices.

No communication
Wont answer phone. Been calling since yesterday and cant get to talk to no one to discuss a cruise and cant do anything on the website other than 2 people but have a total of 2 adults and 3 kids. Why chose this cruise line for the kids enjoyment and cant set anything up or discuss with anyone

If there were two reservations on paper due to the 4/5 limit on room occupancy, then two trip insurance policies were needed. Otherwise 50 people in a family could theoretically be covered under one single policy.
I think they did have a travel insurance policy for each reservation. The problem is the OP’s use of the word family is nowhere to be found in the cruise line’s policy. Thus, the OP and only his traveling companion/s on his reservation are covered.
